Konover South closes Wireless Tech lease

DEERFIELD BEACH - Konover South LLC announced that Wireless Tech has signed a long-term lease for 1,250sf at its Publix-anchored 85,000sf Inverrary Falls retail center at Oakland Park Boulevard and Inverrary Boulevard in Lauderhill.

Konover South leasing specialist Vivian Ricardo represented Konover South in the transaction. Other major tenants include Bank Atlantic, Golden Krust, Gourmet China and H&R Block as well as Little Caesar’s, Sarah’s Beauty Supply & Accessories, the UPS Store, Wachovia Bank and others.

Cohen Commercial Realty marks new deals

WEST PALM BEACH - Bryan S. Cohen and Peter Crane of Cohen Commercial Realty Inc. announced the signing of MCI Institute of Technology to a 10,090sf space at Woodlake Plaza located east of Jog Road on Lake Worth Road across the street from Target in Greenacres.

Prive Group leases 4,000sf to Miss Yip

MIAMI - Miss Yip Chinese Cafe, already operating on Lincoln Road in South Beach, will be opening a second location on Biscayne Boulevard in Downtown Miami.

Principals at Prive Group, parent company for the retail space at 900 Biscayne, confirmed that Miss Yip has signed a lease and will be opening shortly.

Features of the 4,000sf restaurant include a Dim Sum cooking area and new bar/lounge addition with outdoor terrace area.

Stiles named receiver for 475,000sf in retail space

Trattoria Dolce Vita, a specialty Italian restaurant, has leased 1,500sf, and University of Phoenix, a national fully accredited institution of higher education has leased 18,700sf at London Square in Miami. Pete Schlang, director of leasing with Woolbright Development, handled the transactions.

Quest closes 10,100sf lease in Vista Centre

ORLANDO - The St. Augustine-based Amici Banquet Restaurant is expanding into Central Florida with its 10-year lease of 10,100sf at Vista Centre on Palm Parkway near Lake Buena Vista.

Phil Carter of Quest Company of Central Florida Inc. represented both the tenant, VMA Enterprises Inc., and the landlord, TSO Vista Centre LP, in the transaction.

Capital Commercial sells Taft Retail Center

HALLANDALE - Capital Commercial Real Estate Group Inc. announced the closing of the Taft Retail Center, a 6,700sf retail strip center at 1591 NW 77th Way in Pembroke Pines.

Capital Commercial exclusively represented and negotiated the $734,000 sale on behalf of the owner, a local private trust. The purchaser was a foreign private investor that financed the acquisition through a local bank.

Built in 1973, the center is 100% leased to three long-term tenants: Taft Market & Deli, Angie's Pet Spa & Boutique, and Bitter Blue Lawn & Garden.

Capital Realty sells Clocktower Plaza

PALM BEACH GARDENS - Capital Realty Advisors Inc. announced the sale of a 9,854sf retail strip center known as Clocktower Plaza at 4203-4241 Northlake Blvd., just west of I-95. The sale was negotiated and finalized on behalf of the seller by Capital Realty Advisors agent Carol Bush. This value-add property sold for $740,000 and was on the market for 22 days prior to going under contract.

Capital Realty sells car wash

PALM BEACH GARDENS - Capital Realty Advisors Inc. announced the sale of the car wash facility, formerly known as The Grove Car Wash at 2210 N. Federal Highway in Delray Beach. The car wash includes five stalls and a 225sf accessory office building. The sale was negotiated and finalized on behalf of the seller by Capital Realty Advisors agents Carol Bush and Lindsey Walter. The property sold for $500,000.

CB Richard Ellis: Lindsay Dekker

FORT LAUDERDALE - CB Richard Ellis Inc. announced that Lindsay Dekker joined CBRE as industrial leasing associate in Fort Lauderdale.

Dekker will be working alongside the team of Harry Tangalakis and Tom O'Loughlin, assisting landlords, investors, and users throughout Broward County.

Dekker is a recent graduate of the University of Central Florida, where she received her bachelor's degree with a major in real estate and a minor in finance. Lindsay was also a member of the student real estate club, Real Estate Academic Leaders (UCF REAL).
