Colliers International: Mia Stierheim

MIAMI - Colliers International South Florida announced Mia Stierheim, a 10-year real estate expert, has joined the firm as senior vice president to head its retail division. Stierheim specializes in retail real estate ranging from acquisition, repositioning, leasing and sales of mixed-use projects, lifestyle centers, power centers and neighborhood centers throughout the state of Florida.
 
Stierheim is currently the exclusive leasing agent to Talisman Companies for Miracle Marketplace - a 250,000sf open vertical retail power center at 3301 Coral Way, Miami.

Continental Group: Tim O'Keefe, Rob Rabin

HOLLYWOOD - The Continental Group announced that it has promoted Tim O'Keefe to CEO from COO, and Rob Rabin will assume the position of COO after serving as CFO for two years.  O'Keefe takes over the top role at the company from Tom Roses, who announced his retirement earlier this year.
 

Atlantic Retail Properties: Noah Jones

JUPITER - Atlantic Retail Properties announced the addition of Noah Jones to its team of brokers after working as the director of commercial services with Tauriello & Company Real Estate for two years. Prior to that he served as a vice president at Sevell Realty Partners in Boca Raton for four years.

Konover South: David Rattner

DEERFIELD BEACH - Konover South LLC announced that industry veteran David Rattner has joined the company as vice president of acquisitions with a primary focus on sourcing grocery and retail anchored shopping centers and to identify new geographic market opportunities throughout the U.S.

With more than 20 years of experience in retail and commercial investment, Rattner formerly served as vice president of development for North American Properties and worked previously in development with CBL & Associates.

Cushman & Wakefield: Mirta DeCespedes

MIAMI - Cushman & Wakefield announced that Mirta DeCespedes has been named senior research associate for the firm’s South Florida offices. A 12-year veteran of the firm, she was previously a client coordinator with the Kleber/Marshall Tenant Advisory Team in Miami.

As senior research associate, DeCespedes will work with the firm’s service lines to provide real estate market research, analyses and forecasting, giving clients the knowledge and information necessary to make sound real estate decisions.

JUPITER - Atlantic Retail Properties announced Bill Fraser is joining the firm after working as a director of retail services with the Colliers International Central Florida office for the past eight years. Known as a top producer, he has handled several high-profile developments including power centers, entertainment complexes, and grocery-anchored centers. In addition, he has successfully handled retail tenant representation accounts.

FORT LAUDERDALE - The board of directors of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services has named Douglas K. Mandel to the position of vice president investments. The achievement of vice president investment status is one of the highest levels of recognition the firm awards its sales agents. It represents excellence in client relationships, investment real estate expertise and sales volume.

Most recently, Mandel held the position of associate vice president investments.

Flagler Real Estate Services: Wayne Schuchts, Ed Lyden

CORAL GABLES - Flagler Real Estate Services LLC, Flagler's brokerage and property management arm, has expanded and strengthened its top-level broker representation with the addition of two noted industry veterans: Wayne Schuchts, who has been appointed senior vice president, and Ed Lyden, who has been named vice president.

Schuchts will be based in Flagler's Coral Gables headquarters office, where he will manage the leasing and sales activities for Centergate at Gratigny, a 1 msf, mixed-use business park in Hialeah.

WEST PALM BEACH - Hedrick Brothers Construction announced that Michael D. Vanderpool, LEED AP, and Alan R. Gast Jr., LEED AP, have joined the company as project managers and Keith Van Druff, LEED AP, as an assistant project manager.

Vanderpool is a graduate of the University of Florida with a bachelor's degree in building construction. He has more than 25 years of construction industry experience in Palm Beach County in a wide range of project types, both in the private and public sectors, including hospitality, healthcare, and education.
