Brenner leases 38,000sf gymnastics center

FORT LAUDERDALE - Brenner Real Estate Group has announced four completed transactions in Broward County.

Jeffrey Scott, senior vice president – brokerage, and Marty Weinbaum, sales associate, were responsible for the following lease. Tag USA Gymnastics Inc. leased 38,400sf of industrial space within Weston Park of Commerce, 1951 N. Commerce Parkway, Weston, for a relocation of its gymnastics center from within Weston.

Tibor Hollo earns ULI Lifetime Achievement Award

MIAMI - Florida East Coast Realty president and founder Tibor Hollo was honored with the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Southeast Florida/Caribbean District Council 2010 Lifetime Achievement Award.

Touchstone Webb marks new transactions

WEST PALM BEACH - Touchstone Webb Realty Company announced the following new deals:

- 3,293sf of office space leased to Investment Corporation of Palm Beach at 1400 Centerpark in West Palm Beach. The lessor is TA Associates Realty; the tenant's representative is Laureen Hunter of Touchstone Webb Realty Company.   

Brenner closes new retail, office leases

FORT LAUDERDALE - Brenner Real Estate Group announced a retail lease and four commercial office leases in Hollywood, Plantation and Pompano Beach.

Helen Weissman, commercial associate, was responsible for the following leases:

- Beauty Careers Institute Inc. has leased 14,200sf of retail space within West Hollywood Shopping Center, 420 S. State Road 7, Hollywood. Weissman represented the tenant along with co-broker Jean Hasson of Hasson Realty. The landlord, Bostonian Inc., was represented by Carlos Garcia-Velez of Dacar Management.

NAI Rauch sells land for Keiser Univ.

PEMBROKE PINES - Michael Scarpino, CCIM, and Jennifer Scarpino of NAI Rauch Weaver Norfleet Kurtz & Co. represented the buyer, Demeter Pembroke Pines Ltd., a subsidiary of Keenan Properties Group of Fort Lauderdale, in the purchase of a 7.64-acre vacant land parcel. Keenan plans on developing the parcel as a Keiser Univeristy campus.

The property was sold by Duke Realty Corporation. The site is located at the northeast corner of I-75 and Pembroke Road in Pembroke Pines.

Neal Realty closes new leases

FORT LAUDERDALE - Neal Realty & Investments Inc. represented both the tenants and landlords in the following retail lease transactions:

- At the Lakeside Shoppes, a 37,000sf center at 920 West Hallandale Beach Blvd. in Hallandale, Elite Tax & Business Solutions leased 1,000sf for three years. Neal Realty exclusively represents the landlord, Lakeside Shoppes LC, for the leasing at this center.

Merin Hunter Codman marks new deals

WEST PALM BEACH - NAI/Merin Hunter Codman Inc. announced the following transactions:

Barbara LeBrun represented the landlord, TA Associates, in lease renewal of 3,293sf of office space to Investment Corp. of Palm Beach at 1400 Centrepark at 1400 Centrepark Blvd., West Palm Beach.

C. Todd Everett represented the landlord, The Realty Associates Fund VII LP, in a lease renewal of 2,846sf of office space to The Law Office of Glen J. Torcivia and Associates PA at Northpoint Corporate Center at 701 Northpoint Parkway, West Palm Beach.

Reichel Realty marks 73,000sf in deals

PALM BEACH GARDENS - Reichel Realty announced the firm completed commercial lease transactions totaling 73,000sf and valued at $2.95 million during the past 60 days at several South Florida retail centers.

Among the major transactions:

- Washington Mutual Bank leased 6,564sf at One Turnberry Place, 19495 Biscayne Blvd. in Aventura, in a five-year lease valued at $1,854,000. The bank was exclusively represented by Reichel Realty Vice President Dan Casey. Landlord is Turnberry Associates.

RAMB, RAMDC announce merger

MIAMI - The Realtor Association of Greater Miami and the Beaches (RAMB) and the Realtor Association of Miami-Dade County (RAMDC) have announced their merger into one association. The organization's new name will be the Miami Association of Realtors (MIAMI) once the name is approved by the National Association of Realtors.

This is the largest merger in the history of NAR, bringing together 23,000 Realtors in South Florida and forming the largest Realtor association in the nation.

Brenner notes 12,000sf office sale

BOCA RATON - Brenner Real Estate Group announced the completion of a commercial building sale and four lease renewals in recent commercial real estate transaction activity.

Adam Starr, vice president, commercial brokerage, was responsible for the following sale:

- Boca Legal Group LLC, d/b/a Lesser Lesser Landy & Smith PLLC, has purchased a 12,148sf office building at 4730 NW Boca Raton Blvd., Boca Raton. Starr represented the buyer. The seller, CHL Holdings Inc., represented itself.
