Cuhaci & Peterson: College Park Vet Clinic

ORLANDO - Cuhaci & Peterson Architects LLC has been awarded a contract to start permit drawings for renovation of the College Park Vet Clinic on Edgewater Drive in College Park.

Lonnie Peterson, chairman of Cuhaci & Peterson Architects, said the contract was awarded by general contractor M. Paul Construction and will include 2,000sf.    
 

Cuhaci & Peterson Architects: Five Guys Restaurant

ORLANDO - Cuhaci & Peterson Architects was awarded a contract to design renovations for the new 2,900sf Five Guys Restaurant that opened on Orange Avenue in Orlando in August.

Lonnie Peterson, president of Cuhaci & Peterson Architects LLC, said Bengel’s Burgers of Oviedo developed the restaurant, and T.J. Flynn Construction Management awarded the contract.

D & A Building Services: Winter Springs landscape

WINTER SPRINGS -  The city of Winter Springs has selected D & A Building Services Inc. for an annual landscape maintenance contract. Under the scope of its services, the facility maintenance company is providing mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, pruning, annuals, and irrigation maintenance for the right-of-ways and medians on SR 434 from Tuskawilla Road to the Oak Forest subdivision.

LONGWOOD - Cotter-Ryan Commercial LLC has completed construction of two major restaurant projects and expects to complete work soon on an ambulatory surgery center and medical offices complex in Ocala.

Scott Ryan, president of Cotter-Ryan Commercial, said the firm recently completed major renovations of the Aloma Cinema Grill and Draft House, the landmark Winter Park facility located in the Publix Shopping Center on Aloma Avenue at Lakemont in Winter Park.

Terry's Electric: Highlands Elementary

ORLANDO - Terry’s Electric Inc. was awarded a contract for the School District of Osceola County’s multimillion-dollar, 101,656sf Highlands Elementary School addition and renovation at 800 W. Donegan Ave., Kissimmee. W.G. Mills/Ranger Building Services serves as general contractor for the project, which is slated for August 2011 completion.

Roger B. Kennedy: Environmental laboratory

ORLANDO - General contractor and construction manager Roger B. Kennedy Inc. commenced work on the City of Altamonte Springs’ Environmental Laboratory expansion on Keller Road in Altamonte Springs. Designed by AECOM, Orlando, the 3,476sf project is slated for completion in April 2011.

BDG Construction: Panera Bread

WINTER SPRINGS - BDG Construction Services in Winter Springs was awarded a contract to build out the interior space for a new Panera Bread franchise operation at Southport Shopping Center at 1461 SE 17th St. in Fort Lauderdale.

Kevin Guffee, principal with BDG Construction Services LLC, said Covelli Enterprises - the largest Panera Bread franchisee in Florida - awarded the contract for the 4,976sf facility that will seat 279 patrons when it’s completed and opened by the end of this year.

ORLANDO - Tri-City Electrical Contractors Inc. is under way on more than $800,000 of work at the new multimillion-dollar, 150-unit Woodbridge at Parkway Village senior independent living apartments in Fairburn, Ga., near Atlanta, for Ambling Construction, Atlanta. The project is slated for completion in February 2011.
