ORMOND BEACH - H. J. High Construction has broken ground on Phase 2 of the Ormond Beach Middle School project. This second of three planned phases includes demolition of approximately 65,000sf of buildings and construction of a new cafeteria building and campus chiller plant. The 40,000sf cafeteria building includes central receiving, kitchen, serving lines, dining area, stage area, band room, choral room and exterior dining area. The campus chiller plant will provide heating and cooling and power distribution to the entire campus.

ORLANDO - General contractor and construction manager Roger B. Kennedy Inc. commenced work on the $1.3 million, 15,000sf Ray of Hope Center for Sports Medicine tenant buildout in the National Training Center Medical Plaza, which the company previously constructed in Clermont. Milan Vancura, Atlanta, handled interior design for the space at 1361 Citrus Tower Blvd. Completion is slated for June.

ORLANDO - Tri-City Electrical Contractors Inc. completed $2.6 million of work at the new 429,785sf, 348-unit Tranquility Lakes Apartments in Brandon under its contract with Coastal Construction Management, New Smyrna Beach.

ORLANDO - The Multi-Family and Residential division of Tri-City Electrical Contractors Inc. completed $1.7 million of work at the new 310-unit Integra Woods at Palm Coast Apartments in Palm Coast under its contract with LandSouth Construction, Jacksonville.
