CF NAIOP plans golf tournament

ORLANDO - NAIOP Central Florida, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, will host its 2010 Golf Tournament on Friday, April 16, at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club, Orlando, Grande Lakes, at 4012 Central Florida Parkway, Orlando.

CF NAIOP earns national awards

ORLANDO - NAIOP Central Florida, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, received two prestigious national awards at the annual NAIOP Chapter Leadership & Legislative Retreat held in February in Washington, D.C.:

- the 2010 Community Service Award for spearheading the establishment of the University of Central Florida’s Dr. P. Phillips School of Real Estate.

- the 2010 Developing Leaders Program Award for its on-going partnership with UCF’s Dr. P. Phillips School of Real Estate, its “Development 101” educational series and its community service events.

Brenner closes Melbourne leases

MELBOURNE - Brenner Real Estate Group has announced four leases in Melbourne commercial real estate activity.

Carla Casey, regional manager, property management, and Colette Wood, commercial leasing and sales, handled the following transactions:

- Space Coast Business LLC, a publisher, has expanded its lease to total 3,129sf of office space within Imperial Plaza Executive Suites, 6767 N. Wickham Road, Melbourne. Casey and Wood represented the landlord, Sterwick Development Corp. The tenant represented itself.

BOMA Orlando makes cancer center donation

ORLANDO - BOMA Orlando donated $5,000 to the Mind/Body/Spirit Treatment program at the MD Anderson Cancer Center. The money was raised at BOMA’s annual charity golf tournament held in October and represents the 21st year a local charity has benefited from this event. Total dollars given over this time period from golf proceeds exceed $100,000.

Schoolfield marks new transactions

KISSIMMEE - James Mangan of Schoolfield Properties Inc. negotiated 3,500sf of space to Tabernaculo Protifico de Uncion y Milagros International Inc. at 1324 East Vine St. in the Mill Creek Shopping Center at the intersection of Oak and US 192.
