CREW Orlando unveils 2009 awards, board

ORLANDO - Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Orlando announced the honorees of its annual awards program, which recognizes outstanding CREW members and companies.

The 2009 CREW Orlando Awards consisted of five categories - Rising Star, Member of the Year, Company of the Year, Networking Award and President’s Award. The 2009 recipients included:

- Rising Star: Mimi Scanlon, business development, R.L. Haines Construction

- Member of the Year: Libby Wingard, business development, Spectra Contract Flooring

- Company of the Year: Lowndes Drosdick Doster Kantor & Reed PA

- Networking Award: SoDo Orlando Orthopedic Center: Kristin Brown, interior designer/project manager, HuntonBrady Architects; Karen Moorefield, director of corporate development, HuntonBrady Architects; Jan Rothfield, principal, Creative Space Management; Emily Zinaich, vice president of office leasing and sales, Morrison Commercial Real Estate.

- President’s Award: Heather Himes, attorney, Akerman Senterfitt

The award recipients were announced by 2009 CREW Orlando President Pat Werner, CEcD, at CREW Orlando’s 6th Annual Celebration of Champions at the Grand Bohemian Hotel in Downtown Orlando. Also announced at the event was CREW Orlando’s 2010 board of directors:

- President: Jane Smalley, director of marketing and communications, Lake Nona

- President Elect/Delegate: Jackie Bozzuto, partner, Lowndes Drosdick Doster Kantor & Reed PA

- Immediate Past President: Pat Werner, CEcD, vice president of community and economic development, WELBRO Building Corp.

- Treasurer: Mary Nutt, vice president and relationship manager - private banking, Mercantile Bank

- Secretary/Delegate: Karen Moorefield, director of corporate development, HuntonBrady Architects PA

- Director of Programs: Jessica Parker, associate attorney, Baker & Hostetler LLP
